Spring Fever the Bay-Wise Way
One of a gardener’s favorite winter activities is dreaming and planning the spring garden. Linda Gray, Carroll County Master Gardener from the Bay-Wise Committee, will offer  planning tips featured in the Bay-Wise Yardstick for Gardens, a science based gardening guide. She will show us how to help protect our waterways by changing a few simple practices to keep our Maryland water healthy.

Tree and History Walk - Mount Olivet Cemetery
Historian and author of the popular blog, “Stories in Stone”, Chris Haugh will lead us on a walk through Mt. Olivet, identifying the magnificent varieties of trees special to Mount Olivet. We will learn about floral symbolization used throughout history as well as visit some very famous Frederick naturalists.
